Okay, so you already know how to maintain your wigs, now its time to actually put them on.
The wig I used on my artist was too small for her head, we don't have ones made to fit in our class so we have to just make them work.
You have to tie back all the hair to make sure the cap will go over it. You can use plaits etc.
Now you can go ahead and put the cap over the head. Try and use one that matches the colour of your wig. I used a dark grey wig so I used a black cap.
You can get your artist to help you put the cap and wig on. They can hold the front and pull it down, while you secure them to the back of the head.
I don't have a picture for the next part. With the lace at the front fold it back, making sure you have no hairs in the way. You can then apply a thin line of spirit gum and wait till it becomes tacky. With the folded over lace pull forward and stick down using a pin tail comb.
The one thing I would change about this would probably be the wig itself, it would have been a lot easier if it was the right size. Other than that I think it went pretty good for my first time.
